What we believe

We believe that the whole Bible (the holy scriptures) is the living word of God (2. Tim. 3:16; 2. Pet. 1:20-21). We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God who came to die on the cross for our sins (1. Pet. 2:24). He rose again on the third day (Rom. 4:25)and his in resurrection became the spirit that gives eternal life (1. Cor. 15:45). As the spirit all men can receive and experience him today.

By faith in Jesus Christ we receive forgiveness of all sins (1. Cor. 15:3) and are saved from God’s judgement and eternal damnation (John 5:24). But beyond that all believers have received the Holy Spirit of God (Acts 2:38) and are thus born again by the spirit of God and have become children of God (John 1:12, 3:3-6). Therefore every true Christian has received the eternal  life of God with all its wonderful, victorious attributes and blessings. By the baptism into his name we are saved from this world and can experience the termination of everything that is old, so that already today we can walk in the newness of the life that we received from God (Rom. 6:4).

The Lord Jesus rose as a man, and today he sits as the Lord over all things to the right hand of God on the throne. He is above all, and all things are under his feet (Eph. 1:20-23). Now we expect his second coming, as the Bible clearly promises.
