Man is created in a way that his inner being needs to be filled. We all know it from experience. We cannot remain empty – something has to fill us. When nothing fills us life appears unbearably empty and meaningless. For this reason we humans pursue all kinds of things to find fulfillment in our lives, whether it’s in our job, ideology or religion, whether it’s power, politics, wealth, science, art, entertainment, sports, drugs, alcohol and many other things. To what degree all these things make people truly happy and fulfilled is a different question. A fact, however, is that we all have to be filled with something, because we are created as vessels.
